As more strict regulations are passed regarding social distancing and quarantine…we want to take this opportunity to inform Owner Operators of the programs and services that SCI offers that may make life a little easier on the road ahead.
During the coming weeks and months, we want to ensure that every Owner Operator can receive their funds as quickly as possible. We have developed a guide to help sign up for Direct Deposit if you haven’t already. We cannot stress enough the importance of getting your funds via direct deposit. We cannot guarantee that paper checks will arrive on time or at all based on how current events are unfolding. Direct Deposit will ensure that you will be able to receive your settlement on time regardless of what happens. You should have received an email with instructions on how to do this.
SCI realizes that some may be experiencing difficult financial situations during this time. For those Owner Operators that participate in our Tax Escrow program, SCI is waiving its early withdrawal fees. If you need the funds in your tax escrow account early, please call us at 800.821.5344 and we will ensure you receive them.
Every Owner Operator contracted with SCI has a free membership to the IHA. The IHA has resources to help you easily acquire settlement-deducted healthcare coverage at competitive prices. Major Medical, Term Life, Dental/Vision, Minimum Essential, and much more are all available at ihaenroll.com or by calling 888.376.9811 – Now more than ever its necessary to have reliable medical coverage, the IHA can help.
SCI is here to ensure that every one of our customers receives the same personalized customer service and programs that you have come to expect. Our programs are designed to make life easier for everyone, and if there is anything that we can do during this time, we are here to help. Please feel free to call 800.821.5344 or reach out on our Facebook page. Our technical support team is available to help during business hours.
SCI will continue to provide our customers with updates as they become available. As always, your health and safety are crucial. Continue exercising good habits, follow all guidelines at the state and federal level, and use common sense.
UPDATE: As of the date of this posting, SCI has been deemed an essential business by the State of NY. This means that our business is exempt from the current emergency policies set in place for staff reduction. We will continue to ensure payments go out in a timely manner.
